At the end of official visit of Iraqi prime minister and accompanying delegation, three Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) were signed here on Wednesday evening.
Cooperation between Iran’s Interior Ministry and Iraqi Immigration Ministry to facilitate affairs of both countries citizens was the first MoU signed between Iran’s Interior Minister Mostafa Pour Mohammadi and the Iraqi minister.
The second MoU was about security cooperation and exchanging information which was signed by Iran’s Intelligence Minister Gholam-Hossein Mohseni Eje’ie and Iraqi National Security Advisor Mwaffaq al-Rabiei.
The third agreement was about development and expansion of cooperation between the two countries which was signed by Iran’s First Vice-President Parviz Davoudi and Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki.
Iraqi PM at the head of a high ranking delegation arrived in Tehran on Tuesday for a 2-day official visit.

Head of Iran’s Veterinary Organization Hossein Hassani conferred on Sunday with his Iraqi counterpart Davoud Mohammad Sharif on expansion of mutual cooperation between the two countries.
At the meeting, the two sides inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on expansion of mutual cooperation.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is to broaden veterinary cooperation with Iraq, Hassani said.
Davoud Mohammad Sharif leading an Iraqi delegation arrived in Tehran to inspect the country’s capabilities in veterinary field.
During his inspection, he expressed satisfaction with recent scientific progress made by Iran in controlling cattle and poultry diseases.
At the meeting, he called on Iranian officials concerned to hold various professional workshops for Iraqi vets on how to deal with animal diseases.
Earlier, the Iraqi delegation conferred with a number of Iranian veterinarians on expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the sector.
