(IsraelNN.com) In his comprehensive briefing to members of the Knesset Foreign Affairs & Defense Committee on Tuesday, chief of army intelligence Major-General Aaron Ze’evi Farkash explained that Yasser Arafat’s reported illness is “serious”, adding intelligence officials are uncertain exactly what course the illness is taking.
He added that terror organizations are stockpiling weapons and ammunition for the day after Arafat’s death, when the power struggle will begin.
Regarding the Geneva documents, the intelligence chief state the PA is using it to the best of its ability to continue splitting the public consensus in Israel.
